Join the Credit Union

Bradford Area School Employees Federal Credit Union

When you are a member, you are an owner.

That is the credit union difference.

As an employee or family member of an employee of the Bradford Area School District you have the opportunity to become a member of the Bradford Area School Employees’ Credit Union.

Joining is simple!  One phone call and you’re in!  The benefits of joining include:

Borrowing power! You can obtain both personal and auto loans. Loan payments are easy, because they come right out of your paycheck!

Easy access to savings accounts.  Payments into your share account can come directly from your paycheck.  Your money can be withdrawn from your share account with one phone call.

Club Accounts. You can open a Christmas or other Club account, and deposits into it come directly from your paycheck or bank account.  Christmas Checks are issued annually in October.  Other club accounts include Vacation Clubs and Tax Saving Clubs.

Set up your monthly deductions at any amount you wish.

You can set up additional accounts for your children and deposit money from your paycheck directly into their savings.  (no $1.00 entrance fee is charged for children’s accounts)

All we ask is that you keep a $5.00 balance in your share accounts at all times to keep your accounts active.  There is a $1.00 non-refundable entrance fee.

All savings are federally insured up to $250,000

USA PATRIOT ACT NOTICE
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT OR FOR A REQUEST FOR CREDIT
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each individual or business that opens an account or requests credit.
What this means for individuals:
When an individual opens an account, or requests credit, Bradford Area School Employees’ Credit Union will ask for their name, address, date of birth, Social Security Number and other information that allows us to identify him/her. We will also ask to see a driver’s license or other identifying documents.
